Return and Refund Policy

Return Policy 

At Summerside Tack & Equestrian Wear, we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer services, so that you are your horse are 100% happy with the products we carry. Please contact us if you are wanting to return, exchange or wanting a refund on the item. 

If your purchase ends up not being the correct size for shape for your needs, we are happy to exchange it for the correct size. If you have any questions before purchasing an item about fit, please feel free to contact us to help make sure we find you the right size. Items included in this are appeal, footwear and horse blankets. Please note that the item is return in new with all original packaging and tags. Items that are worn, laundered, used or damaged can not be returned.

 If your products arrived damaged please send us photos, copy of your receipt, and information about the item within 1 week of the item arriving. Please follow the same steps for sending items back. For items arriving damage we will cover all shipping charges.

Returns & Exchanges 

For a return the product must be in original condition, with tags still attached and the original receipt within 30 days. We will not accept returns or exchanges on products that are worn, dirty, laundered, abused, altered, misused or damaged. We do not credit shipping or handling charges on any returns and exchanges. The purchaser is responsible for all costs when returning items. Refunds will only be made on to the original purchases’ credit card.  You can choose between an exchange, store credit or refund.  We will do anything to make sure that you are your horse get the tack and products you need. We can bring in special orders for exchanges.



How to send an item back

  1. Before shipping any items, you mush contact the store to received a Return Authorization Number before they can be returned. You can receive your RA# by talking to us through, phone, email or on our Contact Us Page. Please let us know your name, contact information, email address, item(s) you are returning, the reason for the return, receipt number, and if you are wanting an exchange, store credit or a refund.
  2. Once you have submitted your RA# request, please allow 3 business days to process the request.
  3. You will be contacted by one of our staff members via email. Contained within this email will be the instructions on how to return your purchase and an approved Return Authorization number (RA#).
  4. Please print a copy of this email from us and attach to your return item.
  5. Carefully package up your products (in their original packaging) Include a copy of the original receipt & a copy of the RA# e-mail that you received from us. Address your package to the address provided in the RA# email from us. Please be sure to reference the RA# on the front of your return address label. We strongly recommend insuring the package as we cannot be responsible for returns that arrive damaged in transit or that get lost in transit! 
  6. We are sorry but we cannot accept collect returns. Shipping charges are not refundable. Please note that if your purchase was determined to be defective OR you are returning the purchase item due to an error on our part, we will gladly pay the original & return shipping charges.
  7. We will be in contact with you once the item has been returned.
  8. We will then issue your choice of a Store Credit, Exchange or Refund.



Please note the following items that cannot be returned for a refund:


Horse & Dog blankets and/or sheets must be returned clean and unused. We recommend putting a clean bedsheet on your horse or dog before trying on your new blanket or sheet in order to keep it clean.
