Refunds & Exchanges
At Summerside Tack & Equestrian Wear, we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service so that you and your horse are 100% happy with the products you purchase. If your purchase is not the correct size, shape or color, we are happy to exchange it. If you have any questions before purchasing an item, please contact us (you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 250 890-9158) to make certain we get your order right - this can be especially important for apparel, footwear, and horse blankets.
If, for some reason, you are not totally happy with something you have purchased from us, please refer to our Returns & Exchanges Policy below.
Defective or Damaged Items
We try our best to check all our products for defects prior to shipping. However, if you discover that a product is defective or has been damaged in shipping, we will replace it and ship it to you free of charge using our standing delivery method. If it is not in stock, we will give you a full refund of the purchase price.
If you receive a defective or damaged item, please report it within seven days by sending an email to email@example.com and include the following:
We will contact you with further instructions. Please do not return the damaged or defective item unless asked to do so.
If you receive an item that has been incorrectly supplied (wrong item, wrong size, wrong color, etc.) please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange to have the error corrected as soon as possible. Please provide your contact information and the order/invoice number for the item.
Returns & Refunds
Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase and the product must be in its original condition, with tags, and with the original sales receipt. We will not accept returns or exchanges on products that are worn, dirty, laundered, abused, altered, misused or damaged. We do not credit shipping or handling charges on returns or exchanges. The purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning items. You can choose between an exchange, store credit or refund. Refunds will be made only to the original purchaser’s credit card. To obtain a refund, please advise us at email@example.com within 30 days of receipt of the item that you wish a refund and include contact details, details of the item you wish to return and the order or invoice number for the original purchase. (You can see your orders by logging onto our Website and accessing My Account).
Horse & Dog blankets and/or sheets must be returned clean and unused. We recommend putting a clean bed sheet on your horse or dog before trying on your new blanket or sheet in order to keep it clean.
